Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. The town is located 1,270 kilometres north of the Perth. Known for its beautiful reef, whale sharks, the military base, tourism and now the LED illuminated bridge.
Designed, supplied and installed in 4 weeks in the lead up to Christmas was challenging, but achieved, and the result is stunning. 12 x ERCO RGB, DALI, Focal Flood http://www.erco.com/products/outdoor/floor-washlight/focalflood-2332/en/ luminaires have been used to give the footbridge a different personality at night. Focal Flood was a perfect luminaire for the task as it delivers incredibly effective illumination of the surfaces and emphasises details through high-contrast shadows. Optimised for grazing light, their lens system enables wide luminaire spacing and the precision photometrics of the Focalflood façade luminaires minimise spill light so the beautiful natural, dark skies of Exmouth are not interrupted.
